This is my latest effort. A cable-cam dolly based on 1 wheel, self-righting, with stabilizing arms.
This video shows it fully wireless controlled.
Underneath is a Cam-Remote head, 2 axis, with a Red One camera and a Angenieux 25-250 zoomlens, as this is a commonly requested camera setup.

The video shows some jerky movement because the person on the joystick did not really handle it well, but all movements can start and stop smoothly.
Total weight with this camera at this moment 97 kg, but with all accessories can be up to 125 kg.

@steadirob - that is very impressive!!!!!!!!! How long can you run on the battery (looks like a 12v) and do you have any POV footage from the camera?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, been busy on other projects too.
I have footage but that was shot with the Red One camera,too big filesize to upload anywhere. And no time to convert right now.
I am looking into an electronic stabilizing system to make it better. After that I will post more.

The batteries are 2x 12 volts, 11Amp/H, because the motors run best on about 24 volts. I found some impressive and very small high power RC to 24V pcm motor drivers to make everything work.
Probably runs for several hours, depending on the usage of the motors where the wheel motor takes the most power anyway.
