We design and manufacture RC controlled camera mount systems for RC Helicopter, Robots, Blimps, Masts, etc. We've seen some interest in a Cable Cam system so we'd like to do our research and find some technical information on what you guys are doing with Cable Cams.

This site looks like a fantastic resource. I'm thinking we could have a Cable cam system up and running within a couple months.

We'd like to incorporate a 20 gram Electronic Inertial Stabilization (IMU) system that we're testing on our Helicopter systems. The IMU does an impressive job of stabilizing the camera on helicopter movements and I suspect on a Cable Cam it would work even better.

Anyhow... just wanted to drop in and announce our presence.

I hope this doesn't violate any rules, but if you'd like to see our camera gimbals which are likely well suited to you homebrew builders stop by our site.
