Post Re: Navo from Oz
@DPC - I was using a Hitec Flash 5 tx and a Hitec 5 channel 555 rx with a 12v rc boat esc. Unfortunately no failsafe! I turned off my tx accidently and the motor just took off running at full speed. It didn't help I was testing the gear near some 33Kv power lines (much interference).
Haven't done much with setup recently. other life commitments to deal with. Will have to do some more on it. I am really keen to get the motor running and tested. I am also learning to tig weld so I can mod the motor trolley more easily.

Thanks! No worries... I know what'ca you're talking about.

Hey... I will be out your way (well sort of.. New Zealand) to do some filming for my latest production in the first part of 2009. I got about a month or so to get my latest design up and running before my next shoot so I hope to post up some new pics soon. Since I'm 100% wireless your story kinda freaks me out. I guess the one good think about wakeboarding is that we don't do much around high-power lines..
